A careful planning of the bore path is crucial to every HDD bore. However, the calculation of the optimal bore path, taking all influential factors into consideration, is a complicated and often time consuming task. Even customary planning tools quickly reach their limits in complex bores, leaving a manual calculation often as the only option.

For this reason, we have developed the QuickPlanne3D in close cooperation with experienced HDD users. With this clever software, you can plan the optimal bore path automatically and quickly. An intelligent algorithm calculates the shortest bore path three-dimensional and takes all discontinuities and limiting parameters into consideration. This allows for efficient planning and a fast feasibility check for a bore path with low expenditure, as the web-based software can be used with every internet-compatible PC or laptop, without installation.

HDD-Bore planning simple & easy

With the QuickPlanner3D only a few steps are necessary to plan the optimal bore path. The operation is very simple and allows professionals and amateurs to precisely plan even the most complicated bore paths.

The entered data is processed at lightning speed by complex programming in the background and then displayed in graphics. The intelligent software constantly learns new things and optimises itself, so to speak. With the Quickplanner 3D you can display and store as many bore paths and terrain profiles as you like. The data of each single project, or “job” can be accessed at any time and can be used for documentation purposes, as well as for tenders.

The QuickPlanner3D is a basic version, which is developed continuously by the requirements of the HDD user. Analogous to the increasing digitalisation of the HDD machine technology, the focus is especially on autonomous drilling.

The fast way to the bore path

In nine steps the optimal bore path is determined and documented with the QuickPlanner3D.
  • Start: To produce a new bore plan click on „Create Job“
  • Drilling specifications: Enter the bending radius, pipe-OD, entrance and exit angles of the bore. With this data, a two-dimensional terrain profile will be produced.
  • Bore path: Enter the distance from Start to Target of the bore and, if necessary, height, in order to display slopes and gradients. If no height details are available, then the path will be calculated “relative to starting height”.
  • Surface Planning: By defining any number of points, you can display the profile of the terrain more precisely.
  • Obstacles: Now you can indicate the position and size of available obstacles with only a few coordinates, as well as the required safety distance. You can choose to show the obstacles as either a ‘Pipe’ or ‘Box’ graphic.
  • Forced Points: Here you use X-Y-Z coordinates to define the points along which the route must run. This is especially relevant for e.g. planning culvert pipes.
  • Bore Planning: With just one click, the bore path is calculated from the entered data and with a further click, the route is displayed.
  • Ready! Now you can store the planned route.
  • Data protocol: You can additionally export the data into a PDF file. With this data, the HDD bore can be carried out as predefined.

Price informationen

  • Attractive subscription rates at 606,00 € per year or 50,50 € per month
  • If you are not satisfied, the subscription can be cancelled within the first 3 months free of charge by email, stating the reason.
  • No subscription trap. Subscription expires automatically after 12 months, if the user does not explicitly extend it.
